According to the CDC, personalized medicine is understanding how your genetic makeup, lifestyle factors and environment impact your risk of disease and treatment. For EffectiveRX™, this means understanding how your DNA and lifestyle impacts your medication risks.
Pharmacogenomics measures how your genes impact your body’s response to medications. Using this information is proven to improve health outcomes.
By collecting a sample either in a physician’s office or via an at-home kit, EffectiveRX™ uses this specimen to detect specific genes in your genetic makeup. These results alongside your current medications are then reviewed by our specially trained pharmacists to determine the risk of your current medications. This information is then provided to your physician to assist in making medication adjustments to improve your health.
No one wants surprise medical bills. If your cost could be more than $295, we will attempt to contact you before we process your test. If we do not reach you within 3 weeks, we will not process your test.
